My Story

After earning my Master of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Valdosta State University in 2020, I've had the privilege of working in schools, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Each setting has taught me something different about the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of communication.

Why I'm Different

Holistic Approach: As a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and certified children's yoga teacher (CYT-100), I understand how breath, movement, and mindfulness can enhance traditional speech therapy techniques. My years as a competitive dancer and singer taught me the power of expression in all its forms. My personal and familial experiences have lead me to prioritize trauma-informed, neurodiversity affirming, play based and integrative approaches to therapy.

Personal Connection: Living in North Metro Atlanta with my daughter and our dog, I understand the daily challenges families face. I'm not just your therapist: I'm a neighbor, a mom, and someone who genuinely cares about your success. I grew up in Gwinnett and have been (with the exception of 2 years) a lifelong resident of Georgia.

Specialized Expertise: I specialize in supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and complex medical needs from birth through young adulthood. My experience spans working with infants fresh from the NICU on feeding and swallowing, guiding toddlers in early communication, and supporting school-age children with speech, language, and social communication. I also help families of teens and young adults navigate the transition from school-based services into community and life-focused skills. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, compassionate, and rooted in advocacy — ensuring that each voice is honored and supported across every stage of life.
